As a precursor to pilot-scale field work or long-term treatment solutions, MAR Systems offers an initial treatability study to find the best media solution for your water. 
Criteria:
The study involves shipping a 5-gallon sample container to our site and drawing a water sample from an agreed-upon location. Our laboratory then completes a series of lab testing to determine the best SorbsterTM media solution for your water.
Contaminant Removal:
Results from this study give an indication of media application and specific SorbsterTM media needed to remove a variety of contaminants, including:
- Mercury
- Arsenic
- Chrome
- Lead
- Phosphorous
- Radium
- Selenium
- Strontium
- Uranium
- Vanadium
- Zinc
The test has proven to be a successful predictor of removal rates, and applications project customized to the specific site. The fee for the SorbsterTM Media Optimization Selection is about $1,500, not including shipping costs. A comprehensive report including data analysis and narrative will be delivered to you once the testing is complete.
